NAS

Network Attached Storage — a dedicated file server connected to a network that lets multiple devices store and access files in one shared location, essentially a shared drive reachable from anywhere on the LAN. CompTIA's own official acronym list actually defines NAS as 'Network Access Server,' an unrelated AAA-context term for the device a client connects through — worth knowing about since Network Attached Storage is the far more common real-world meaning.
